Alright, ignoring the fact that I got this image at Real Dominant Women... who is in charge in this photo?
I have enjoyed straight razor shaving very much. I have topped from either side of it. I have shaved my boy this way and I delight in the power and control I have with a razor at his throat. It's very sexy and a powerful feeling, knowing how easy it would be to slit his throat. Not to mention how good the razor feels, it's a wonderful sensation play.
I have also topped in the way that I have my boy shave me. I relax in the tub, read a book, soak under a towel, get all lathered up and shaved. It feels spectacular and it's his service to me. He doesn't have the control or power because he's not in that mindset and neither am I. I have the power because he is doing me this service, keeping his dominant relaxed and keeping his appearance sharp.
This is why I enjoy this photo, to be honest. Not only because I have a hard on for straight razor shaving, but also because this can be seen in either light, depending on the viewer.

Xs and Os played on a marked sub's bottom. Great idea. Though I've been wanting to play marble solitaire on my boy's back for awhile, rather than Xs and Os. It's hard to play that by yourself. Solitaire, however...
I'm not sure if they're marks from caning or from gentle knife play, it's hard to tell.

Aftercare
A sadist cradles and kisses her masochist after some decorative cutting. A sweet picture of aftercare. There's thousands of pictures and photos of bdsm (especially bondage), but there are so few pictures of aftercare. I tend to really treasure them. This one especially is awesome.

deer hunt
I have my fetishes, and this comic plays into them. One day I will have a deer or fox hunt like this. Rawr.
Straight shave
A straight shave at the barber's. An intimate, trusting submission that I wish was more prevalent today. There's nothing quite like having a straight razor to your (or someone else's) throat.
Did I mention that I love the movie Sweeney Todd?

knife to the throat
Sexy blood and knife play by Sei-ten. I love the way that this picture has been framed, so that the dominant's face is just out of frame and therefore more mysterious and powerful.
Crying
This picture looks like it's been cropped badly. I'm not sure where I got this, or if I was the one who cropped it like this. I have a feeling half of it's missing, though. So if anyone knows where this is from or who the artist is, please let me know.
However, it's worth it even just for this half. The marks on his body, the instrument leaving a bloody trail down his abdomen, the tears dripping down his face... wonderful.

Finding control
The historical art of Judith and Holofernes and of Salome and John the Baptist are very dear to my heart. It's a historical depiction of women dominating men through art. The first image, for example, is Judith Slaying Holofernes by Artemisia Gentileschi, who was not only the first female painter to be a member of Accademia di Arte del Disegno, but one of the first to paint historical and religious art with female heroines.
In a male-dominated society, especially when she was alive (1593-1653), I imagine they felt as if the had to find a place where they could have some control. Some women found it in paint and I am eternally grateful that they did.

I have you
Soldiers, bondage, boots, bruises, fear, possible interrogation, obvious pleasure in sadism, knife and blood play, uniform.... makes for a wonderful combination.
