Andromeda

Andromeda by Gustave Doré.

Andromeda was chained to a rock as a sacrifice to a sea monster (which you can see in the bottom left, if you stop staring at the naked lady) because of her mother's bragging. Oh, mythology, you're so kinky.

This is why I started painting. Not because of this painting specifically, but because this is how I wanted to be able to paint.

Cages

I like cages. I so far have never really had one (minus a dog-kennel). It's just not an item that you can keep in a small apartment and still invite your parents over. We had a seven foot tall St Andrews Cross in our kitchen for three or four months and that was enough hiding of BDSM equipment for me.

I would like an under-bed cage though. Perhaps with a long enough underskirt, no one would notice? Except the cats, of course, who would thump their dumb heads into it running around like maniacs. I'm not sure where I got the woman in the tall cage, but the other picture has been traveling around on fetlife for awhile now.

One day, when I have a house with a basement or attic, then I will have a proper dungeon.

Bird cage

I love how ornate it is. It's too bad it doesn't seem to have a bottom. She could probably just lift it off herself if she wanted. Unless the ceiling was very low. The cage does seem to be attached to the ceiling, so I doubt she could just tip it over.
